About this course

Management of house environment is essential to express the genetic potential of the flock. A correct ventilation allows to manage air quality, temperature and humidity. Although the tendency is the implementation of automatic houses for broiler production, which includes automated air quality, temperature and humidity control, it is important that both Growers and Supervisors know the different alternatives to achieve a proper ventilation manage.

This course will explain how to measure air quality, its contaminants, the temperature and the humidity. It will also review the available systems to control ventilation and the effects of a poor air management on the flock.
