Edgar Oviedo is a Professor in the Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University. Dr. Oviedo has extensive experience working in the poultry industry as a Veterinarian, Nutritionist, Extension Specialist and Consultant in 23 countries.
His responsibilities at North Carolina State University include extension and research in broiler and breeder nutrition and management, hatchery, data analysis and production systems. His research activities include the effects of feed ingredient quality and processing on broiler chickens, breeder nutrition, hatchery management on broiler production and health, leg problems and locomotion in poultry, mineral metabolism, intestinal health, and economic optimization of poultry production systems.
Dr. Oviedo can emphasize aspects of precision nutrition, nutritional value and economic impact of feed formulation.
Nora Ferro is Graduate in Educational Science from the University of Buenos Aires and Postgraduate in Multimedia Teaching Material Design for Virtual Environment in the Oberta University of Catalunya.
She has 23 years of experience in designing teaching activities for face-to-face, e-learning, blended and informal learning methods. She has worked in Training areas of different companies, and in the last 6 years, she has been working as Independent Consultant, providing teaching solutions to companies in Argentina and other countries. She has been responsible for the design of more than 30 courses in animal nutrition and is actually Training Coordinator in anpro campus.
Carolina Denkler is a graduate from Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design. She worked during 4 years in the construction industry, taking on many roles including Marketing Communications Management, Sales and, eventually, Design Manager.
For the last 4 years she has been working in Consultancy and Management of e-learning projects with global companies.
